Their music is inspired by traditional music from India, the Middle East & Eastern Europe, alternative rock and jazz.
Mahalakshmi sings traditional kirtan and original melodies, while accompanying herself on keyboard.
Emam provides captivating rhythms on tabla and percussion.
Emam is also a composer and music producer who for over 30 years has been involved in bringing together master musicians from around the world for performances and recordings. Mahalakshmi is a singer-songwriter and devotional sound yogini who has been composing music for over twenty years. |
