presents Mayank Bedekar tabla

Mayank Bedekar was initiated in the art of playing Tabla at the tender age of 3 under the tutelage of Shri Vinay Wagle at Ujjain. Later on he obtained training from Shri Suresh Tulankar at Nagpur for 3 years and Shri Kaleram Ji at Punjab for two years.

Now for past several years Mayank is learning under the Guru-Shishya Parampara tradition from great Tabla Exponent Padmashree "Taal-Yogi" Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. A Graduate in Commerce, he has also procured his Master’s degree in Tabla from Khairagad University.

Mayank has participated and performed in many prestigious festivals all over India and abroad (U.S. , Paris, Switzerland, Thailand etc.) with many renowned artists. He has performed in many Fusion and Jazz programs, has participated in many projects of his guru Padmashree "Taal-Yogi" Pt. Suresh Talwalkar like "TAAL-YATRA", "TAAL-KIRTAN" & "TRIVENI" to name a few.
